A global leader in infrastructure and mobility solutions is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team in Sydney. With over 1,000 employees in Australia and a solid reputation for delivering safe, reliable and sustainable solutions, the company plays a key role in shaping urban environments.

The Role

Working within a small, collaborative legal team, this position has a solid focus on construction and commercial contracts. You’ll provide legal support across a wide range of business activities and play a key role in contract management and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and commercial contracts
Advising the business on contractual risk and strategy
Supporting governance and compliance matters
Engaging with internal stakeholders and external advisors

Candidates at least 3 years PQE level with construction law backgrounds ideally front end however will consider backend/litigation or those with contract administration experience gained in a construction or infrastructure-related workplace.
