Vivid Recruitment is currently recruiting Structural Engineers at both intermediate and senior level for a global engineering consultancy's Sydney team. Despite its international reach, this business has the feel of a smaller firm, where you'll know the people you work with and your contribution is noticed. The Sydney team is busy delivering a strong mix of data centre and high-rise projects, giving you the chance to work on technically challenging structures with real scale and complexity.
The Role n
n
Structural design and analysis across a range of projects, with a focus on data centres and high-rise buildings
n
Producing calculations, design reports and documentation, and working closely with drafters and modellers to deliver accurate drawings
n
Coordinating with architects, other engineering disciplines and clients throughout the design process
n
Undertaking site inspections and supporting projects through construction
n
For senior candidates, leading projects, mentoring junior engineers and building solid client relationships
n
About You nn
Intermediate:
2 to 5 years of local structural engineering experience
n
Senior: 6+ years of local structural engineering experience, ideally with project leadership
n
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
n
MUST BE LOCATED IN AUSTRALIA
n
Permanent work rights in Australia
n
Experience on data centres, high-rise or large commercial projects is highly regarded
n
Confident using structural analysis software such as Spacegass, ETABS or RAPT
n
CPEng, or working towards it, is a plus
n
Transparent communicator who enjoys working as part of a team-oriented team
n
