The Role n
An established insurance building and property repairs business is looking for an experienced Insurance Building Estimator to service the Brisbane, Bayside, Ipswich and Toowoomba regions.
n
You will complete site inspections, damage assessments, scopes of work and accurate repair estimates across residential and commercial insurance claims.
n
The position requires someone who can work efficiently across a high-volume claims workplace while meeting insurer and client-specific KPIs.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Prepare detailed scopes of work and repair estimates
n
Complete site-based and desktop assessments
n
Estimate accurately from photographs, documentation and inspection information
n
Manage high-volume insurance claims
n
Meet insurer KPIs, SLAs and turnaround requirements
n
Assist with CAT event claims
n
Manage variations and changes to scope
n
Liaise with policyholders, insurers, supervisors and trades
n
Handle complex claims where required
n
Maintain accurate notes,
reports and supporting documentation
n
Attend residential and commercial insurance claim sites
n
Assess damage associated with storm, flood, hail, escape of liquid and other insured events
n
Experience Required nn
Previous insurance building estimating or assessing experience
n
Experience across storm, flood and hail claims
n
CAT event and high-volume claims experience
n
Demonstrated experience working to insurer or client KPIs
n
Solid knowledge of building repairs and construction methodology
n
Robust scoping and estimating capability
n
Excellent written and verbal communication
n
Ability to manage a large workload effectively
n
Highly Regarded
n
Prime experience
n
Complex claims experience
n
Large-loss exposure
n
Trade or building qualifications
n
Residential and commercial insurance experience
n
Location n
Candidates based around Brisbane inner city, East Brisbane, Bayside or Ipswich will be ideally positioned to service the territory, which includes Bayside, Ipswich and Toowoomba.
