Armstrong Flow Control is seeking a motivated Workshop & Inventory Assistant to support our busy Flow Control and PiPress workshop and warehouse operations. Based at our Capalaba facility, you’ll play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time, while supporting the workshop with day-to-day repairs and servicing of parts and equipment.
What You’ll Do
Mechanical aptitude and confidence using basic hand tools.
Assisting tradespeople with mechanical repairs, maintenance and servicing.
Preparing tools, parts and equipment.
General workshop duties and housekeeping.
Receive and dispatch goods in line with company procedures.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse with correct bin locations.
Accurately pick and pack customer orders to meet expectations.
Operate forklifts and assist with loading/unloading deliveries.
Record stock movements in Cin7 and freight systems.
Conduct stock takes and support account management tasks.
Collaborate with the team to deliver tasks efficiently and on schedule.
What We’re Looking For
Good mechanical aptitude and an interest in machinery
A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and stock counts.
Ability to prioritise workflow in a changing workplace.
Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
