Job Description

We’re seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to grow and manage key travel partnerships across Melbourne.

n

The role focuses on developing relationships with travel agents in the sports and entertainment sectors, as well as corporate partners.

n

You’ll build on existing accounts while identifying recent opportunities to strengthen the organisation’s presence in the travel market. The ideal candidate brings a robust local network, a proactive approach to business development and a track record of turning partnerships into sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities n

Manage and grow a portfolio of travel agent and corporate partner accounts.
n
Develop relationships with agents specialising in sports and entertainment travel.
n
Identify, pursue and convert new partnership and revenue prospects.
n
Create account plans and partnership strategies aligned with business objectives.
n
Represent the business at industry meetings, events and networking opportunities.
n
Monitor market activity and partner performance,



sharing insights with internal teams.
n
Negotiate commercial agreements and maintain accurate pipeline and account records.
n

About you nn
You have at least 5 years’ experience as a Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager or in a comparable role.
n
You have established contacts and a strong professional network in Melbourne’s travel sector.
n
You bring experience managing travel agent and corporate accounts, ideally across sports, entertainment or related travel segments.
n
You’re confident prospecting, negotiating and presenting partnership opportunities.
n
You’re organised, commercially focused and skilled at building long‑term client relationships.
n
You communicate clearly and work well with both clients and internal stakeholders.
n
