Light Vehicle Mechanic - Full-Time | Glenroy VIC 3046 n

Prestige Automotive Mechanics is an independent, locally owned automotive workshop in Glenroy. Our customers keep coming back, we're growing, and we're moving to a bigger site. We need a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to grow with us.

The Role n

A full time, hands-on role servicing and repairing a wide range of makes and models. You'll work closely with the owner, Aakash Malla, in a friendly team where quality work and honest advice come first.

Key Duties n

n
Logbook and general servicing to manufacturer specs (warranty-protected)
n
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults with scan tools
n
Brake, suspension, steering and tyre work
n
Engine, cooling, clutch and drivetrain repairs
n
Pre-purchase and safety inspections
n
Clear job notes, and explaining repairs and quotes to customers
n
Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
n

Requirements nn
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620)



or equivalent
n
Proven experience as a qualified light vehicle mechanic
n
Positive attention to detail and pride in your work
n
Reliable, punctual and a team player
n
Full working rights in Australia
n

Nice to Have nn
Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) / Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) experience
n
Auto electrical skills
n
Confidence with diagnostic tools and software (e.g. Launch, Autel, Bosch)
n
Air-conditioning licence
n
