The role
Take technical ownership of electrical design across a varied project portfolio, while guiding a team of engineers and designers.
What you’ll do
Own electrical design delivery from concept through to construction documentation
Design LV distribution, lighting, communications and security systems
Run design calculations, including lighting, cable sizing, maximum demand and energy efficiency compliance
Produce single line diagrams, schematics, specifications and reports
Coordinate with other disciplines, architects, contractors and clients
Review team output for quality and compliance with the NCC, Australian Standards and CIBSE
Support commercial matters on projects, including variations and invoicing
Coach and develop less experienced engineers
What you’ll bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering
RPEQ and/or CPEng
Senior building services design experience in a multidisciplinary setting
AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
Confident communicator with robust stakeholder and project management skills
