What might your days look like
n
As our Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role for Employment Hero. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and other accountants to manage all of our day-to‑day accounting, including reconciliations, journals, and accruals. You will also have exposure to inter‑company and FX transactions.
n
The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter who can work at a rapid pace. You will be responsible for running the day‑to‑day accounts while also maintaining compliance. We’re seeking a commercially‑minded accountant with outstanding critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities will include
n
n
Reconciliation of daily bank accounts across all global entities
n
Reconciliation of company credit cards and spend management platforms
n
Supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
n
Preparing journal entries including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, intercompany transactions
n
Ownership of the Fixed Assets Register
n
Completion of month end balance sheet reconciliations ensuring that all reconciliation issues are investigated and resolved
n
Assist in the external audits
n
Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and involvement in standardising and optimising financial accounting processes
n
Reconciliation and variance analysis of Company Spends
n

What Will You Bring
n
n
At least 1 years’ worth of experience in a similar role
n
Currently studying for CA/CPA qualification (or are looking to start this)
n
Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
n
Experience with NetSuite is highly advantageous
n
Hungry, creative, enthusiastic, and data‑driven with a diverse skill set
