Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Liaising with project team, suppliers, builders and sprinkler fitters
Supervision of preparation of shop drawings with AutoCAD and Revit
Authorise drawings for construction
Ordering pipe and material
The successful applicant must have:
Minimum 2 years experience in the fire protection contracting industry.
Thorough knowledge of AS 2118.1 and the BCA.
Experienced in the design of fire suppression systems and, possibly, fire detection systems
Computer design knowledge with HydraCad or similar.
Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Self-motivation.
Valuable organisational skills and an ability to work in a team workplace and under pressure.
