Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to join the Growth and Liveability team for the season. The position is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Council’s Aquatic Centre and its employees.
Weekly pay cycle
Salary range $ - $ plus applicable penalty rates
2026 - 2027 pool season

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is responsible for the effective and effective management of the Council’s Aquatic Centre and its employees.

ABOUT YOU
Supervise Pool patrons
Provide lifeguard service
Clean and maintain change rooms, showers and pool grounds
Check and correct, if needed the pool Chemistry and backwash filters
Liaise with schools, aqua aerobics, S&R;, disabilities, swim club
Train and update pool staff to legislative required statutes
Administer minor First Aid and attend any major accidents which may require ambulance attendance
Liaise with Council staff to ensure repairs are done if necessary
Plan and program casual staff roster and activities




Provide high level of interaction with pool patrons
Promote and manage onsite WH&S;
