You will initially be responsible for general yard duties, with the opportunity to develop your skills and progress into machinery operation.

Sorting and separating scrap metal

General yard housekeeping and maintaining a secure, tidy work environment

Assisting with day-to-day yard operations

Progressing to operating excavators and other machinery
n

Learning to safely load and unload trucks

Be at least 18 years of age
n
n
Hold a current driver's licence
n
n
Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
n
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
n
Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
n

Be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
n
n
A forklift licence is preferred but not essential
n
n




No previous scrap metal or machinery experience is necessary, as training will be provided
