Yard Person / Forklift Operator – Badgerys Creek - $45 p/hr + OT + 12 hour shifts. Fuse Recruitment are currently sourcing for an experienced Yards Person / Forklift Operator to work in construction setting for a National Leader in their field specialising in Airport and Distribution builds. This is an 8 week minimum assignment with an immediate start available.

$45 p/hr + daily overtime + Super

Duties:

In this role you will work as a Yards Person and Forklift All rounder. Duties will not be limited to forklift operation and you will complete manual handling duties for 50% of your shift daily. You will also be working with oversized machine parts and long pallets.

Forklift operation:
Loading and unloading Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis




Loading Oversized pallets up to 6 meters long
Transfer products from Cargo areas to construction areas
Transfer products from despatch to staging and pick face areas
Receiving and Despatch duties

Manual Handling:
Manually moving bulk machine parts
Picking up and staging parts

The Candidate:

You will be required to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol medical prior to starting this role

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have:
Current valid NSW LF Forklift license
Yards Person experience
8 tonne forklift operating experience is advantageous
Experience loading and unloading trucks (Rigids, B-Doubles and Semis)
Experience in oversized products and working with ugly freight
Excellent attention to detail
Previous experience in a quick-paced setting
Excellent WHS knowledge
An ability to commit to the role in an ongoing capacity
