About the role
We are seeking expressions of interest for motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineers and Engineering Geologists with 2+ years of experience to join our Team in Darwin.
This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career as a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist, applying your technical expertise across significant infrastructure, transmission and renewable energy projects. You will work in a supportive, cooperative setting while taking on increasing responsibility and building your capability as a well-rounded Engineer.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate geotechnical investigation and fieldwork programs, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
Work closely with technical teams to develop practical geotechnical solutions, applying engineering and geological principles.
Support the planning, execution and delivery of geotechnical scopes of work, liaising with site personnel, contractors and senior technical staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
Prepare and review technical documentation, field records and reports to support project delivery and stakeholder requirements.
What You'll Need
A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist part of a consultancy
Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
Good interpersonal skills
Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
