Assistant Rail Planner supports the planning and development of Victoria's future rail network for passengers and freight. The role collaborates across the transport portfolio and with stakeholders to deliver integrated, place-based transport and land use planning with users at the centre.

The role provides analysis and advice on rail projects, prepares briefs, reports and presentations, and monitors emerging trends to keep rail planning aligned with government policy and objectives.
