We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join an established Australian-owned consumer electronics and retail business on an initial 3-month temporary contract , with the potential for a full-time opportunity following the contract.

This is a hands-on role suited to a finance skilled with robust accounting experience and Pronto ERP knowledge who can hit the ground running and support the finance team through a period of system integration.

Responsibilities
Process Accounts Payable invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
Follow up and process supplier claims.
Manage new vendor account approvals and ongoing maintenance.
Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate stock variances.
Investigate purchasing price variances and identify discrepancies.
Investigate sales refunds and process payments.
Complete cash sales reconciliations.
Perform general ledger reconciliations.




Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
Assist with the integration and reconciliation of financial data across systems.

Requirements
Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant .
Pronto experience is essential.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
CA/CPA qualification is advantageous.
Solid financial and analytical skills.
Experience with an ERP system, with Pronto highly desirable.
Experience using Xero, XPM and Microsoft Excel , including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and SUMIF.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Available to start immediately.
