Working alongside the Location Manager and wider management team, you'll play an important role in the daily operations and continued development of Premier Funerals. This is a diverse position combining funeral arranging and conducting, staff supervision, operational responsibilities and business development.

Key responsibilities
Arranging and conducting funerals, providing compassionate and professional support to families
Supporting, mentoring and supervising staff in their daily duties
Working with the Location Manager to coordinate daily operations and maintain high service standards
Managing the operational requirements of Department of Justice contracts, ensuring contractual obligations and service standards are met
Building relationships within the local community and identifying opportunities to promote and grow Premier Funerals
Contributing to business development and improvements across operations
Participating in a rotating after-hours on-call roster

About you
Previous experience working in the funeral industry is essential, minimum 2 years
Experience in a supervisory or management role




Demonstrated experience arranging and conducting funerals
Strong communication and people management skills
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
The ability to work collaboratively with an existing management team
A qualified, compassionate and respectful approach when dealing with families
A willingness to participate in after-hours roster
