Hunter Valley Concrete Pumping Service is seeking an experienced heavy vehicle mechanic to complement our business. With continued investment in new equipment and newly awarded work we are seeking an experienced heavy vehicle mechanic to complement our business. This role has a genuine career progression path to workshop manager. You will be working from our Tomago depot.

Key responsibilities

Truck and pump preventative maintenance, routine servicing and repairs

Light vehicle and minor plant servicing

Electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs

Current vehicle fit outs

Completion of paperwork and accurate record keeping

Boom inspections and rebuilds

Ancillary plant equipment servicing and repairs

Interpret schematics, parts manuals and computer programs

Occasional attendance at side-of-road or site breakdown jobs





About you

Construction Induction (White Card)

Reliable with a valuable work ethic and an eye for detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Additional tickets & qualifications highly regarded

Minimum HR drivers' licence (or willingness to obtain)

Permanent work with good rates

Progression path to Supervisor / Manager

Late model equipment with OEM support

Family orientated qualified work environment
