We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. The Accountant will work closely with clients to provide strategic financial advice and support their business growth.
Skills:
Robust analytical skills
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
Excellent attention to detail
Robust communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable,
payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for clients
Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Provide strategic financial advice to clients to support their business growth goals
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CA certification preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role
Experience working with small businesses is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
