About the role

This Psychiatry position is based within a large tertiary hospital in North Queensland, offering solid university and research affiliations.



The successful applicant will provide high-quality clinical and non-clinical psychiatric services across hospital, community and outreach settings, with opportunities to contribute to research and the education and training of future health specialists.

Key responsibilities include leading and delivering specialist mental health services in accordance with skilled standards, ethical practice and relevant health policies, while supporting adult community teams and/or acute inpatient services.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, the successful applicant will perk from a strong collegial culture and comprehensive clinical and operational support.
