About the role nn
Delivering electrical distribution designs across overhead, underground and/or distribution substation projects.
n
Taking ownership of projects of varying complexity and coordinating design deliverables to meet quality, programme and budget requirements.
n
Applying engineering principles, industry standards and utility requirements to develop compliant design solutions.
n
Considering Safety in Design, constructability, maintainability and interactions with existing network assets.
n
Attending project sites and providing technical advice and support when required.
n
Collaborating with clients, network representatives, engineers, designers, project managers and other stakeholders.
n
Resolving technical challenges and identifying opportunities to improve design quality and project delivery.
n
What you need to have: nn
Proven experience and understanding in electrical distribution design
n
The ability to consider safety, constructability and other existing assets when developing designs
n
A practical, solutions-focused approach
n
Knowledge and application of Safety in Design
n
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification
n
Experience with AutoCAD
n
Experience with NEARA would be advantageous, but is not essential
n
