VEX is seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join our growing team. We are looking for tradespeople with strong experience in pump, crushing, sizing, and gearbox maintenance across mining and heavy industrial operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of pumps, crushers, screens, and associated equipment.
Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical faults.
Gearbox rebuilds, alignment, and installation.
Shutdown, breakdown, and planned maintenance activities.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site and company requirements.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Applicants should have demonstrated experience with:

PUMPS
Warman pumps
KREBS pumps
Metso pumps

CRUSHING & SIZING EQUIPMENT
ABON crushers
McLanahan crushers and sizing equipment

ADDITIONAL SKILLS




Gearbox repairs and rebuilds
Bearing installation and replacement
Shaft alignment and precision measurement
Working within mining and processing plant environments
