What you'll do
Be the first point of contact for our customers by phone and email, answering questions on products, pricing, availability and delivery status
Enter orders accurately and efficiently, and assist with online ordering
Offer suitable stock alternatives and keep customers updated on back-orders
Keep records and order history up to date
Work across departments to find timely solutions
Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer expectations
Support new customers as they get started with ordering
Take part in regular product training with our producers to build your product knowledge and stay across industry trends

You'll also have
Proven customer service experience, ideally in food, logistics or hospitality
A friendly, professional phone manner and clear written communication skills
Confidence using Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
Availability for a 7:00am start, Monday to Friday
A genuine love of food
Familiarity with systems such as Sage X3, X3CloudDocs and Pepper (highly regarded)
Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles (an advantage)
