ROTATING 12HR SHIFTS / PLENTY OF OVERTIME ON OFFER

Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician with industrial experience or the desire to be trained. Rotating 12hr shifts. Plenty of overtime on offer.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager some of your key duties will include:
Undertaking general repairs, electrical maintenance and routine inspections
Completing a range of routine inspection tasks
Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawings, and specifications
Conducting fault finding, testing and repair work on plant equipment
Ensuring the maintenance plan is executed according to schedule and adjusting when required
THE CANDIDATE:
To secure this role the ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 2 years electrical experience – You will be working in a fast-paced industrial site. Exposure to industrial electrical work would be outstanding but not essential.
Our client is happy to train candidates who have a excellent work ethic and ability to learn
Previous experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) would also be ideal but not essential
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work at a quick pace during busy periods.
A current forklift licence (not essential)
The shifts are split into 3-week rotating rosters:
Week 1:
Mon: 6pm – 6am
Tues: 6pm – 6am
Wed: 6pm – 6am
Thurs: Off
Fri: Off
Week 3:
Mon: Off
Tues: Off
Wed: 6am – 6pm
Thurs: 6am – 6pm
Fri: 6am – 6pm
Sat: 6am – 4pm (compulsory overtime shift 2 out of every 6 weeks)
