We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join a support team in Dee Why NSW 2099. This chance is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.

About The Role:
Providing support to a male participant (8 years old) – a valid Working with Children Check is mandatory.
Assisting with community access and participation in activities.
Supporting the participant during walks and outings, providing gentle guidance and physical assistance when required.
Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement in meaningful activities.
Providing personal care and domestic assistance.




Supporting secure routines while promoting the participant’s wellbeing and development.

About You:
Female (preference).
Experience supporting children with Autism and/or vision impairments.
Patient, calm, soothing communication, and gentle in your approach.
Confident providing physical support when required.
Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with families and support teams.
Reliable and committed to providing consistent support.
Understanding of sensory sensitivities and strategies to support emotional regulation.
