What you would do as our Trainee Setter
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you would:
Responsibility for setting and operating machining
Ensure safety checks are carried out within specified time limits
Ensure first off inspection are completed
Support the set-up and operation of Automated assembly equipment
Carry out inspection requirements laid down in the Company Quality Manual
Participate in improving and standardising best practice workplace organisation and manufacturing methods
Record all information required to maintain and demonstrate the performance of the cell via the KPI board
Other duties that are appropriate to experience and qualification as directed by management
Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy
Comply with the Company Health & Safety policy at all times
To maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
Carry out TPM and routine maintenance on machines where applicable
Supporting all other manufacturing processes – for example assembly & packing
