Registered or Enrolled Nurse - Theatre Scrub/Scout

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our operating theatre team in a Scrub/Scout role. At our hospital located on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches

About the role

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive theatre team, providing safe, high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities include:
Working as a Scrub/Scout nurse during surgical procedures
Preparing and maintaining the operating theatre and sterile field
Assisting surgeons and the wider theatre team
Ensuring appropriate instruments, equipment and supplies are available
Maintaining strict infection prevention and control standards
Completing accurate clinical and theatre documentation
Contributing to a safe,



skilled and positive theatre setting

About you
Holds current AHPRA registration as an RN or EN
Has experience in operating theatre nursing, particularly Scrub/Scout
Demonstrates excellent clinical and communication skills
Works well within a multidisciplinary team
Is reliable, organized and committed to patient safety
Has a qualified and positive approach to patient care
Experience in a range of surgical specialties is desirable.
