Prepares accurate, competitive and well-qualified tender pricing so Boylson wins the right projects at the right margin. The role works alongside the existing estimating team, the Director and the Operations Manager. When a tender is won, the Estimator hands it over to the delivery team with a explicit cost plan and a risk register.
Key responsibilities
Tender review and planning
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and contract conditions
Assess each chance against Boylson's tender review procedure and help decide whether to bid
Attend site inspections, tender briefings and client meetings
Identify risks, scope gaps, exclusions and items that need clarification, and raise RFIs during the tender period
