We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic advanced law student in theior final year to join our Dust Disease department Maroochydore team.
This is an excellent chance for a student in the final year of their law studies who is looking to gain valuable practical experience and commence their legal career in a supportive and professional environment.
About the Role
Working closely with an extensively experienced Partner, you will gain exposure to a broad range of legal matters and have the opportunity to develop your legal skills through hands on experience.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting a Partner with file management and case preparation;
Legal research and drafting correspondence;
Preparing court and tribunal documents;
Liaising with clients, experts and other stakeholders;
Attending client appointments and conferences;
Supporting the team with administrative and legal tasks as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be currently completing the final year of a Bachelor of Laws degree;
Be intending to seek admission as a legal practitioner upon completion of your studies;
Have solid written and verbal communication skills;
Demonstrate attention to detail and sound organisational skills;
Possess robust time management abilities;
Be proactive, professional and eager to learn;
Have a genuine interest in developing a long-term legal career.
