Join a major resources-sector engineering environment and deliver electrical design across complex mining and materials handling applications.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team delivering technically challenging work within the resources sector.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong mining or materials handling experience who enjoys getting across detailed electrical design, technical documentation and engineering deliverables.

The Role

You will be responsible for producing high-quality electrical engineering and design deliverables, including:
Preparing project specifications, design reports and engineering calculations
Developing detailed electrical engineering documentation
Preparing HV and LV single line diagrams
Developing HV and LV cable route layouts
Preparing electrical schematics and termination documentation
Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams




Supporting the delivery of designs in line with project requirements and applicable standards

About You To be successful, you will ideally have:
Previous electrical engineering experience within mining or materials handling
Robust experience preparing technical specifications, calculations and design documentation
Experience with HV and LV electrical design and documentation
Ability to produce accurate, high-quality engineering deliverables
Underground mining experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
