Introduction
Get the water flowing on a Defence-linked build in the Top End.
CC Pines is looking for a Site Engineer (Hydraulics) to join our Darwin project full-time, on the ground.
We're after someone already based in Darwin, so you can hit the ground running.
You'll own the hydraulic scope on site, from setout to commissioning, on a project that'll look very good on your CV.
This is a full-on role.
The roster is likely 6 days a week, so we're after someone who wants to be in the thick of it and make things happen.
In return, you get real responsibility, a great location and a team that backs you.
About Us
CC Pines is an Australian-owned, family-founded construction company with a 45-year track record of delivering complex, high-risk projects that other contractors won't touch, from embassy builds in Morocco to Defence infrastructure across the Pacific.
We work with the Australian Department of Defence, DFAT, and the US Department of Defence, and we've never had a reportable safety incident.
We're big enough to run world-class projects, small enough that your voice actually gets heard.
Our values, humble, hungry, smart, aren't a poster on the wall.
They're how we pick our people and how we run our sites.
Why Darwin?
This role is based in Darwin, full-time, and honestly, that's one of the best parts of the job.
Tax perks that put money back in your pocket.
Darwin sits in the Zone A remote area, so you're eligible for the federal Zone Tax Offset.
Add no NT land tax for individuals,

and a stamp duty concession worth up to $18,600 if you're buying a home in the Territory.
A genuine outdoor lifestyle.
Mindil Beach sunsets, barra fishing, weekend trips to Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks, and a harbourside city built for getting outside after work.
Dry season living.
Roughly May to October, you get warm, sunny days and next to no rain.
A tight-knit, laid-back community.
Small-city feel, big social scene, and a genuine "everyone knows everyone" culture that makes settling in easy.
Career runway.
Darwin's Defence and infrastructure pipeline is booming, and this puts you right in the middle of it.
Why Join CC Pines?
Real ownership of the hydraulic scope on a nationally significant project, not a junior seat in a huge team.
Competitive salary plus Territory living benefits.
Career progression.
We're growing, and we invest in developing our people.
A supportive, inclusive team where engineers are trusted and heard.
