Position
Due to continued growth and strong market demand, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Hire Controller to join the team, supporting operations at the branch in the western suburbs of Brisbane.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys being at the centre of daily operations.
You will play a key role in coordinating equipment hire, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.
Working Hours:
M - FOccasional Saturdays (Paid at time and a half for first 3 hours then double time after)
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage equipment hire bookings, allocations, and returnsDeliver exceptional customer service and provide technical supportLiaise with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable solutionsMaintain accurate hire records,



contracts, and documentationEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational proceduresSupport general branch operations and assist the wider team as required
This role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Candidate
To be considered, you will have experience as a Hire Controller, Service Coordinator, or in a similar role within the construction or equipment hire industry.
