An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Customer Service Operator to join a long standing global organisation.
This is a hands-on customer service role where you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders, coordinating with warehouses and freight providers, and supporting the sales team to deliver a seamless customer experience.
You'll be joining an established team and will work closely with the Hub Manager and broader sales and warehouse teams.About the Role You will be the key point of contact for customers and sales representatives, helping to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Your responsibilities will include:Managing incoming customer calls and enquiries relating to orders, products, pricing and availabilityProcessing customer orders accurately through SAPLiaising with warehouse managers, sales representatives and freight companies regarding orders and deliveriesFollowing up outstanding orders, backorders, stock availability and delivery issuesMaking proactive outbound calls to customers to follow up enquiries, quotes and ordersIdentifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and generate additional businessProviding sales support to Business Development Executives, including stock level reporting and order assistanceManaging enquiries through the ticketing system and shared inboxProcessing invoices and general administration associated with customer ordersBuilding strong relationships with customers through reliable,



responsive and professional serviceWorking closely with the broader Hub team to resolve customer, stock and delivery issuesThe role will involve a combination of inbound and outbound customer contact.
While call volumes will vary, the successful person will be comfortable working in a busy environment where customer service, accuracy and responsiveness are important.About You You'll be a confident and proactive customer service professional who enjoys speaking with customers and getting things done.
To be successful, you will ideally have:Previous experience in customer service, call centre, sales support or a solid desire to learnStrong verbal communication and a professional telephone mannerExcellent attention to detail and accuracy when processing ordersConfidence making outbound calls and proactively engaging with customersA genuine commercial mindset and willingness to identify sales opportunitiesGood computer skills and experience using Microsoft OfficePrevious experience using SAP although training will be providedExperience working with ticketing systems, shared inboxes or CRM platforms is advantageousThe ability to work collaboratively with sales, warehouse and operational teamsA positive, motivated and outgoing personalityExact experience not essential - what matters most is your customer service ability, communication skills and willingness to learn.What's on Offer?
