Revenue Accountant 16-Month FTC Strong Potential to Extend This established, community-focused property organisation is looking for an experienced Revenue Accountant to join its collaborative and supportive finance team.
This is an initial 16-month fixed-term contract with strong potential to extend, offering plenty of stability while giving you the opportunity to join an organisation with a genuine social purpose.
Reporting to an experienced Finance Manager and working alongside another Revenue Accountant, you'll take ownership of a broad range of revenue accounting responsibilities while supporting the wider finance function.
Your responsibilities will include:Analysing income and revenue across the organisationCalculating and processing rent chargesManaging monthly and ad-hoc payment cyclesReceipting and reconciling revenuePreparing month-end journals and revenue reportingInvestigating and resolving revenue discrepanciesMonitoring financial performance and identifying trendsSupporting process improvements and efficiencies across the revenue functionWorking closely with internal stakeholders across finance and the broader businessAbout You: You'll ideally be an experienced Assistant Accountant or Accountant who enjoys a hands-on role and is comfortable managing competing priorities.
You will bring:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business, or equivalent experienceAround 4-5 years' experience within accounting, revenue or a similar finance roleStrong reconciliation and month-end experienceHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfidence managing deadlines and competing prioritiesStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teamsThis is a excellent opportunity to join a stable, purpose-led organisation with a supportive finance team, varied responsibilities and strong potential for the role to continue beyond the initial 16-month contract.
