This is a hands‐on role responsible for the efficient management of materials, hardware, stock levels and warehouse operations to ensure our factory and project teams have the resources they need to deliver exceptional results.
You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement.Job DescriptionThe successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:Purchase Orders / Hardware ControlReceive deliveries and cross-check against Euroline and supplier invoicesRecord received materials in Excel tracking sheetsMonitor and follow up on back-ordered items with suppliersStore hardware in designated locationsDistribute hardware for specific jobs and maintain sign-off records for issued itemsStocktakeConduct weekly stocktakes to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained to keep factory operations running efficientlyBoard Allocation / ControlReceive deliveries and cross-check against Euroline and supplier invoicesOrganise the shed according to incoming materialsUpdate the Bargstedt system with incoming boardsRecord received materials in Excel tracking sheetsMonitor and follow up on back-ordered items with suppliersCheck stock levels of boards, laminates and edging materials for the factoryForklift OperationsLoad and unload delivery trucksEmpty factory waste bins and manage bin change-overs, including general waste, recycling and cardboardMaintain an organised shed and yard, including empty pallet storageCoordinate the collection and management of cover sheetsTo be considered for this role you will have the following:Current Forklift Licence (essential)Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or manufacturing environmentExperience working within the joinery, construction or manufacturing industry will be highly regardedStrong attention to detail and accuracy when receiving and recording stockBasic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage stock levels and maintain organised storage areasStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and prioritise competing tasksCommitment to maintaining a protected and clean work environmentSome of our benefits:Access to employee benefits programPersonal and family access to the Employee Assistance ProgramParticipate in our learning and development programMonthly BBQ'sBirthday Leave – Have Your Birthday Off On Us!
