We are seeking a Sleep Apnoea Consultant to join the team at Cpapshop in Cairns, QLD.
This is a part-time position approx.
2 days per week , that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.
As a Sleep Apnoea Consultant, you will be at the forefront of patient care, providing expert guidance and support to individuals managing sleep apnoea conditions.
This role is crucial in helping patients understand their diagnosis, navigate treatment options, and achieve better health outcomes through education and personalised care recommendations.Key responsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments and consultations with patients presenting with suspected or diagnosed sleep apnoeaProvide detailed education to patients about sleep apnoea, its health implications, and available treatment optionsDemonstrate and educate patients on the proper use of CPAP devices and related equipmentMonitor patient progress and compliance with treatment plans, providing ongoing support and troubleshootingMaintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulationsLiaise with healthcare professionals including GPs and sleep specialists to ensure coordinated patient careAnswer patient enquiries regarding sleep apnoea management and equipment functionalityContribute to a welcoming and professional patient experience at all timesWhat we're looking forExperience working in sleep medicine, respiratory care,
