The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands on Retail & Kitchen Production Assistant to join our team at the Loulou Production facility in North Sydney.
Located just one minute from Victoria Cross Metro Station, our production facility supports the Loulou bakery and venues across Sydney, preparing, packing and organising freshly made products for daily delivery and retail.
This is a full time, Monday to Friday position, with mandatory early starts.
Working hours vary depending on production and delivery requirements, but are generally around 3:30am to 11:30am.
This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys early starts, working as part of a team and taking pride in getting products prepared, packed and ready for the day ahead.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with our bakery, kitchen and logistics teams, you will help ensure our products are prepared, packed and ready for delivery and retail each day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Picking, organising and packing bakery and kitchen products into daily ordersPreparing completed orders for collection by our delivery driversPacking products into bags and packaging ready for retail saleChecking orders for accuracy, presentation and qualityAssisting with organising and preparing orders for upcoming daysSupporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation and production dutiesWashing, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment,



utensils and food preparation areasAssisting with weighing, checking and storing suppliesKeeping production, kitchen and packing areas clean, organised and efficientFollowing all food safety, hygiene, health and safety requirementsWorking closely with the team to meet daily production and dispatch deadlines
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently work early morning shiftsComfortable with mandatory early starts from around 3:30amOrganised and able to work efficiently to daily deadlinesDetail focused and takes pride in accuracyComfortable working on your feet in a fast paced production environmentSelf motivated and able to work independently when requiredHappy to get involved across both kitchen production and retail packing dutiesA team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment
Previous experience in food production, bakery, kitchen, packing, retail, warehousing or logistics would be beneficial, but is not essential for the right person.
