JS Balustrading PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Kirrawee, NSW.
This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and manufacturing of quality metalwork products.
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into finished products through precision welding, cutting, and assembly work.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and meeting the expectations of our valued clients across the trades and services sector.Key responsibilitiesRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine fabrication requirementsOperate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG, TIG and stick welding machines, to join metal components with precision and qualityMeasure, mark and cut metal materials using various tools and equipment such as angle grinders, plasma cutters and shearsAssemble metal components and sub-assemblies according to specifications and quality standardsPerform quality inspections on fabricated products to ensure they meet design specifications and safety requirementsMaintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policiesCollaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specificationMaintain and service fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevityDocument work completed and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on projectsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Fabricator or in a similar welding and metalworking roleProficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG,



TIG and stick weldingStrong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExperience with metal cutting and shaping tools and equipmentSound knowledge of health and safety practices in a fabrication workshop environmentExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical fitness and ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materialsRelevant qualifications or certifications in welding or fabrication (preferred)Experience in the balustrading, fencing or architectural metalwork industries would be advantageousWhat we offerJS Balustrading PTY LTD is committed to providing a supportive and rewarding workplace.
