A well-established, locally owned public practice firm in Canberra is seeking an experienced Audit professional to join its growing team.

The Role
You will play a key role in planning and delivering high-quality audit engagements across a range of clients, including not-for-profit, government-adjacent and private sector organisations.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading and executing external audit engagements from planning through to completion
Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing coaching and technical guidance
Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and audit reports
Contributing to process improvement and the ongoing development of the audit function
About You
You will be a motivated audit professional looking to take the next step in your public practice career.
You will ideally have:
CA qualification (or near completion)
3–7 years' experience in external audit within a public practice firm
Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge
Experience managing audits and mentoring junior staff
Excellent communication skills and a practical, client-focused mindset
