From guest rooms and public spaces to plant, equipment and essential services, you'll lead with a hands‐on approach and a sharp eye for detail.As Assistant Manager – Engineering, you will:Support the day‐to‐day operation of the Engineering departmentCoordinate planned and reactive maintenance across the hotelLead, coach and support our engineering colleaguesWork closely with hotel departments to respond to maintenance needsHelp manage contractors, compliance checks and safety requirementsMaintain accurate records, logs and preventative maintenance schedulesContribute to energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement initiativesSupport the Chief Engineer with projects and departmental prioritiesYou'll bring:Previous experience in hotel engineering,
facilities or a similar environmentExperience supervising or leading a teamStrong knowledge of building services, maintenance and workplace safetyExcellent communication and problem‐solving skillsA calm, organised and practical approachFlexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysRelevant trade qualifications are highly regardedYou must already have current and ongoing working rights for AustraliaAt Andaz, we create experiences that feel personal, generous and connected to place.
