You will lead a portfolio of quality clients, work closely with the Partners on complex compliance and advisory engagements, and play a key role in mentoring and developing the team around you.The Partners are actively succession planning and are looking for someone who wants to grow into the business long term - equity is on the table for the right person.What You Will Be DoingManaging a broad portfolio of private clients including family groups and privately owned businessesLeading complex compliance and tax engagements from start to finishProviding advisory services across tax planning,
structuring and business performanceWorking directly alongside the Partners on key client relationships and firm initiativesReviewing and mentoring junior and intermediate accountantsContributing to the firm's shift toward an advisory-led service modelWhat We Are Looking ForCA or CPA qualified8+ years of Australian public practice experience, with significant time at Manager or Senior Manager levelStrong technical knowledge across business services, tax compliance and advisoryProven ability to manage a client portfolio independentlyNatural leadership presence with experience mentoring team membersA commercial mindset and genuine interest in client outcomesAmbition to move beyond compliance and grow into an advisory-focused role2 days WFH per week and flexible hoursEstablished portfolio of fees ready to take over from day oneFirm is heavily investing in technology and AI - target of 70% advisory within 2 yearsEquity pathway available for the right candidate through Partner succession planningLong-standing firm with a loyal and established client baseCollaborative culture with low staff turnoverThis is not just a Senior Manager role - it is a genuine pathway into the business for someone who wants to build something.
