Malcolm Civil is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our growing team across South East Queensland.
Working alongside our site supervisors and civil crews, you'll play a key role in delivering underground drainage, sewer and stormwater infrastructure works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Key responsibilitiesInstall stormwater, sewer, water main and drainage pipes in accordance with plans and specificationsAssist with trenching, pipe laying, bedding, backfilling and compactionSet up and maintain correct pipe grades, dumpy levels and alignmentsRead and interpret civil drawings, service plans and levelsWork closely with plant operators, labourers and supervisors to keep works progressing to programAssist with the installation of pits, manholes, culverts and associated drainage infrastructureEnsure materials, equipment and work areas are organised and ready for daily activitiesFollow all site safety procedures, including trenching and excavation requirementsMaintain high standards of workmanship and ensure installations meet project specificationsIdentify and report site issues,
