You'll be embedded within an established HR Operations team, working directly alongside operational leaders to drive outcomes across a energetic workforce.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will act as a trusted HR partner to operational teams, providing timely and pragmatic advice across a broad generalist remit.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing HR advice across employee relations, performance management, and legislative complianceSupporting performance improvement plans and attendance management processesAssisting with workforce planning, roster planning, and establishment management activitiesContributing to recruitment support and organisational capability initiativesSupporting remuneration, benefits, payroll processing, and injury management activitiesAssisting with the delivery and implementation of HR projects and continuous improvement initiativesPartnering with leaders to support data-driven decision making

About You
You are a capable HR generalist who thrives in fast-paced, operational settings.
You bring sound judgement, strong stakeholder skills, and the confidence to deliver consistent, professional advice at all levels of an organisation.
You will also bring:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline2+ years' HR experience, within the resources, mining, or heavy industry sectorStrong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build effective stakeholder relationshipsConfidence acting as a trusted HR resource across all levels of an organisation
