Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic Melbourne Western Suburbs | Permanent Full time | Workshop & Field ServiceTRS Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic for a permanent opportunities with an established businesses based across Melbourne's western suburbs.This position would suit a trade-qualified mechanics looking for variety across both workshop and field-based work, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a range of heavy equipment and mobile plant.You'll have the opportunity to work independently, take ownership of your work and be supported by an experienced technical team.The Role Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will IncludeServicing and repairing heavy equipment and mobile plantMechanical fault finding and diagnosticsHydraulic and basic electrical troubleshootingEngine, transmission and component repairsPreventative and scheduled maintenanceConducting equipment inspections and identifying faultsAttending breakdowns and completing onsite repairs when requiredCarrying out both workshop and field service dutiesMaintaining high standards of safety and workmanshipAbout You We Are Looking For Someone WithAn Australian-recognised qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a related tradePrevious experience working with heavy equipment,
earthmoving machinery or mobile plantStrong mechanical and hydraulic knowledgeConfident diagnostic and fault-finding abilitiesThe ability to work independently when requiredGood communication and time-management skillsA strong commitment to workplace safetyFull Australian working rightsAdditional licences and experience across field service, fabrication or welding will be highly regarded but are not essential.What's On Offer?
