We work with leading global brands and provide engineered solutions for construction, mining, infrastructure, agriculture and standby power applications.Job OverviewWe are seeking a 3rd year or fully qualified Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in service work maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, particularly those used in power generators.

Key ResponsibilitiesYour role will include but not be limited to installing, maintaining and repairing generator sets, lighting towers and compressors,
ensuring compliance with safety standards.Pre-delivery of various new units.Upfitting of new generators to customer specifications.Field servicing and workshop servicing.Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in diesel-powered generators.Ensuring all repairs and maintenance are completed to safety and operational standards.Breakdown callouts.Available to travel interstate and overseas if required.Be available for on call rotations (once confident with Genelite generators).
Be available for overtime if needed (only on occasion, not a weekly requirement).
Work independently and within a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.Maintain detailed service records of all work performed.QualificationsStrong knowledge of diesel engine systems, particularly in generator applications.Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.Hands-on experience with generator controls and safety systems.Certification in Diesel Mechanics or related field preferred, if qualified.Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Valid driver's license.Why Join UsCompetitive pay with opportunities for overtimeOpportunities for professional growth and certifications.A supportive and collaborative work environment.
