Chevron Australia Downstream is seeking to appoint a B2C Marketing Specialist on a 12-month fixed term contract to join the Caltex Marketing Team, who will be responsible for developing and executing fuels and retail marketing programs to accelerate growth of the Australian downstream business, with a strong focus on marketing communications, promotions, brand and sponsorship activation.
The role partners closely with in-country and regional stakeholders, as well as external agencies.
Reporting to Marketing Team Lead, this exciting opportunity is based in Brisbane but will require occasional travel to operations across the country.
The role is expected to deliver measurable outcomes, apply ROI based prioritization, and execute with strong operational discipline and compliance in line with organization's ways of working.Key responsibilitiesPlan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, events, and traditional channelsDevelop marketing collateral, promotional materials, and content aligned to brand guidelinesCoordinate campaign timelines, budgets, and stakeholder approvalsMonitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvementManage website content, digital advertising, and social media activitiesConduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trendsLead fuels marketing product launches and promotionsLead brand sponsorships, activations and customer engagement initiativesCollaborate with sales, customer, and operational teams to ensure marketing activities align with business objectivesManage external agencies, suppliers, and media partnersAbout youMinimum 5+ years' experience in marketingFuels or energy exposure an advantageProven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving setting, successfully managing multiple initiatives and priorities concurrentlyDemonstrated capability to monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity,
