Join a growing funds management business at the forefront of product innovation This is an opportunity for an experienced legal professional to step into a highly visible senior role within a growing and sophisticated funds management business.
Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation, you will play a key role in supporting the development, launch and ongoing management of investment products.
With a strong pipeline of new product initiatives and strategic projects ahead, this role offers the chance to influence outcomes from concept through to market.
You will join a collaborative legal team and work alongside highly respected internal and external legal stakeholders, providing commercially focused advice that supports business growth while managing legal and regulatory risk.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will be the lead legal adviser across product-related matters and provide strategic guidance to key stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Advising on the full lifecycle of investment products, from development and launch through to ongoing operation and enhancement
Supporting major product initiatives, restructures and strategic projects
Reviewing and advising on disclosure documentation, trust deeds and other fund-related legal documentation
Providing guidance on regulatory,



governance and risk matters impacting investment products
Partnering closely with Product, Compliance and broader business teams
Managing relationships with external legal advisers and other key stakeholders
Mentoring and supporting a Legal Counsel within the team
About You
You are an experienced legal professional who enjoys partnering with the business and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
You will bring:
8+ years post-admission experience
Experience gained within funds management, financial services or a leading private practice environment
Solid exposure to investment products and funds management frameworks
Experience advising on complex legal and regulatory matters
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
A commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business outcomes
