In this role you will be working closely with a highly regarded and leading Partner, Vera Visevic, across a range of matters including:Drafting complex letters of advice and submissions to the ATO and ACNC;Arranging tax endorsements/concession for charities;Providing corporate/governance advice;Advising on fundraising issues;Dealing with internal disputes in NFPs;Drafting constitutions; andActing on mergers.This is an opportunity to provide technical expertise and advice to charities and the Not-For-Profit sector more generally.




This is not a pro bono role.Who We Are Looking ForThe successful candidate will have the following:Minimum of 5 years' PQE in NFP, charity, corporate, commercial or tax lawSkilled at translating complex legal issues into clear, actionable advicePassionate about the NFP and for‐purpose sectorComfortable managing client relationships and mentoring junior lawyersCollaborative, pragmatic, and committed to delivering high‐quality workStrong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent client serviceAt least a credit average academic history from a well-respected university.What We OfferWe take a collaborative approach to your learning & development, giving you the personal attention and unique opportunities required to help you realise your full potential.
