The OpportunityHitachi is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our team in Mackay.As a Parts Interpreter, you will ensure timely and accurate supply of quality parts to both external customers and internal stakeholders.
Your customer facing role will be pivotal in maintaining delivery standards, achieving sales targets, and fostering long-term customer relationships.Reporting To The Parts Supervisor,



Your Responsibilities Will IncludeCollaborating with a small team of parts interpreters and internal sales staffProviding exceptional service to external customers and internal stakeholdersUtilising electronic parts manuals to identify and supply parts according to customer needsSourcing parts externally when necessaryMaintaining and updating records using Microsoft DynamicsDelivering outstanding customer service via phone, email, and over the counterWorking closely with the warehouse to ensure smooth delivery of partsTo Be Successful In This Role You WillEmbrace and drive the HCA Safety Culture, prioritizing safety above all elseExhibit a proactive approach to problem resolution and meet customer expectationsDemonstrate resilience, professionalism, and enthusiasm while working in a team to achieve business goalsBuild and maintain robust business relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholdersExhibit excellent written and verbal communication skillsPossess intermediate to advanced computer skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly regardedHave a good understanding of earthmoving, construction equipment, or a related industryDemonstrated experience in spare parts interpretingA solid mechanical understanding would be advantageousHere at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
