This role is ideal for a qualified professional seeking meaningful, flexible work within a values-driven organisation.About the roleYou will work closely with individuals and families to assess eligibility for practical and financial assistance and deliver high-quality, person-centred case management.
Using strengths-based and trauma-informed practice, you will support clients with complex needs to achieve improved wellbeing, independence and stability.Key responsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive case management and care planningAssess and manage risk, including child protection, family violence, suicide ideation and self-harmConduct financial assessments in line with organisational proceduresMaintain accurate,
timely and confidential client documentationBuild strong relationships with internal teams and external service providersWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environmentBachelor of Social Work requiredDemonstrated casework experience with individuals and familiesStrong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practiceExperience managing complex client risk and mandatory reporting obligationsAbility to work autonomously and collaborativelyKnowledge of relevant legislation and community resourceExperience in one or more of the following: mental health, disability, aged care, child & family servicesDomestic & Family Violence experienceRussian or Hebrew language skillsUnderstanding and sensitivity of Jewish Culture and ValuesMandatory requirementsWorking With Children CheckNDIS Worker CheckWhy join JewishCare?
