The roleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our team based at Bibra Lake, WA.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in providing technical leadership in the design, development, and delivery of complex hydraulic systems, and solutions across a diverse range of projects.This role offers the opportunity to work across the full engineering lifecycle — from front-end engineering and tender support through to detailed design and delivery — while collaborating closely with project, workshop, and site teams.

fostering technical development and knowledge sharing within the teamEnsure engineering records, calculations, and design history files are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company requirementsEnsure all engineering outputs meet company and regulatory standards for safety, quality, and complianceContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering systems and design methodologiesPromote a robust HSE culture and comply with all safety, quality, and environmental systemsQualifications & ExperienceRelevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry experienceProven relevant experience within the Hydraulics industry (5+ years)Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices and methods, as applied to hydraulic engineeringStrong knowledge of hydraulic systems engineering and hydraulic componentsExperience in mechanical and structural equipment designWorking knowledge of basic electrical principlesProficiency in 2D and 3D drafting using AutoCAD and SolidWorksExperience leading FEED, tendering, and multidisciplinary engineering projectsAbility to liaise effectively with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliersHigh level of computer literacy, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracyAbility to work autonomously and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbout UsPressure Dynamics is a leading engineering and services contractor specialising in hydraulic and lifting solutions for the Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, Marine, Defence, Power Generation, and Industrial sectors.
